Empowerment
Nothing about us, without us. I believe in amplifying the voices of groups who are too often overlooked. My work is about creating space so marginalized voices are heard and taken seriously. At the heart of this lies my commitment to inspiring young women of color - I want to show that everyone, irrespective of their background, can be a force for change.
Impact
I fight for a just and livable future. Everything I do must contribute to social impact - large or small. My broad academic background enables me to grasp complex international challenges and understand the connections between them. From this foundation, I build bridges and work on solutions that generate change.
Innovation
If we keep doing what we've always done, we'll continue to get the same results. A just and livable future calls for new ideas: not simply repackaged solutions, but bold approaches that reach the heart of the challenge. Innovation demands creativity - and that creativity lives in all of us.
My name is Kimberley - a social entrepreneur, storyteller, and creative strategist with a passion for justice, inclusion, and social impact. With my experience in branding, social media, and advocacy - from serving as the President of the Dutch National Youth Council to working as a communications specialist at the international women's rights organization NGO CSW/NY - I now support cause-driven organizations through my company D3CADE, helping them amplify their visibility and impact.

From a young age, my sense of social responsibility has driven me to make the world a better place. Growing up in the Netherlands and Uganda, I witnessed early on how international inequality takes shape.
I noticed the same pattern with social enterprises and various nonprofit organizations I worked with. Time and again, I saw the same pattern: the people creating the greatest impact often lack the time and resources to tell their story. As a result, hopeful initiatives remain underexposed, and valuable perspectives on how change is possible are left unheard.
After completing my Master's in Global Thought at Columbia University in New York, I decided to bring together my talents and values in my own venture: D3CADE. Through my PR and strategy agency, I amplify the platform of changemakers and ensure their stories inspire far and wide.
I also use my personal brand to inspire others to contribute to social progress. As a moderator, speaker, and photo- and videographer, I translate my ideas and beliefs into compelling stories. I believe powerful storytelling can make systems more just.
